Rain in October 

Not only makes the leaves heavy

And branches bare

But it also drenches our Soul 

Leaving a chill behind

The grey Skies 

And thick wind 

Blowing aimlessly 

Trying to kick up the wet leaves 

Into swirling  circles 

Better order the firewood 

And wait for Spring
