As the Sun sets

Sinking behind the ocean 

An orange glow  envelopes the skyline

You want to kick off your shoes

And  run with the waves

Drowning in their sounds 

Free as a Seagull 

Arms outstretched like wings

Don’t fly away Sweetheart 

This feeling of Youth

Rush of emotions in my head

I want to hold on to it forever
