The more I Live
The More I am in this Dichotomy
Me getting up Every Morning
Leaving for Work
Coming back home
Expecting Warm food on the Table
And then there is the other Me
Longing to be Free
Like A Buddha, unattached
Out on a Journey
A Bowl for leftover food
The Break of Dawn
Always a New Beginning

Love's Arms

In Between Work
and Traffic
News and Facebook
Love Survives
It Hides
In Unexpected Places
We don't have Time to Look.
Struggling to Find
Time to Unburden
To Let Loose
In Love's Arms.

This Life

Flowers Bloom in Spring
All that Vitality
Nurtured thru the Winter
Waiting to Burst
Into the Open Arms of the Sun
And this is Where
You and Me
Start
A Journey
Every Year

I Want

It is the Wanting
That does me in
If I were not to Want
What would I Be ?
Blowing with the Wind
No Direction
Or Every Direction.
This Thought
Of Not Wanting
Is itself A Want
And there in lies My Problem

Eternal

It is difficult
But not Impossible
To Grasp Emptiness
To have that Depth less Feeling
Everything Blends into Nothing
The Unity of all Thoughts
Leading to a Zero
And in There
A Space
Timeless
Eternal

A River

There is a River
Flowing inside
Don't know where it Starts
Or where it will End
I keep Hearing it
The sound of water
Carving Rocks
It Nurtures Me.
In an Ideal World
At the End of an Ideal Day
I will turn everything down
And just listen to it
Deep in Me
The River
Flowing
Taking me with it.

Icicles Melting in the Bright Sun
Remind me of that Fleeting Love
When Time stood still
And Everything seemed to last Forever
I look forward to Summer
And the coming Winter Beyond

Evening
Blending into Early Fall
Nights starting to spread their long wings
Cool Air
