June

June is around the Corner
and  Flowers are Blooming
I see the Birds and the Fish.
The little Pond with its waterfall
Balances the Heat with its Sights
Much like Your Cool Dark Eyes
This is what I want to see this Summer
Flowers reflecting in your Eyes
Their Smell in Your Breath
The Heat in Your Touch
and the Flow in Your Heart
Earrings Dangling
Your Hair swept by the Wind

Aurora Borealis

A Solar Storm erupts on the Sun
Waves of Electromagnetic Radiation
Come Crashing through our Atmosphere
The Sky gets illuminated
with Bright rays of Purple, Red and Green
I look up in Amazement
I know you are out there somewhere
Tell me where You are
I will run up to You
Be Beside You
When the Sky is celebrating
I don't want to be without You.

Have You Ever Heard Snow Flakes Fall

I Knew that a Storm was coming
The Wind had Picked Up
The Birds had disappeared
You were all ready to Go
With your Thick Coat
and Pointed Boots.
I did not Stop You
I Looked at You
You Looked Away
I told You I loved You
You Shrugged Your Shoulders
I heard the door Slam behind You
A Moment of Silence
And then I Heard the Snow Flakes Fall.

Embers

After Everybody is gone
And the laughter has stopped Echoing
I am still sitting there
Watching the Embers turn Red.
I still remember those Dark Cold Nights
When my Heart used to be Freezing
And then You came along
With your Eyes so Bright
And how Your Warmth Touched Me.
I have held on to this Feeling for so Long.
I can never be afraid of Losing You
Your Love Burns inside Me

Flame

The Wind is Blowing Hard
In the Freezing Cold
with Snow Flakes flying
I hear a Knock
I open the Door
and only a Cold Gust greets me.
My Heart tricks me again
You had promised
You will be back
I could see it in Your Eyes
Feel it in your Touch\
I will keep this Flame Burning
My heart will not turn to Ash
Only You can soothe this Fire.

I take off the Dark Shades
My eyes need to Feel the Sunshine
This Brilliance of Life.
All around me, The Green looks Greener
The water Crystal
It is all very clear now
You, a Beautiful Human Being
are what gives my World the Light
You fill my Darkest Hours with Glow
Soothe my Burning Soul.
I am afraid to take all of this from You
Afraid You will run out of this Energy
I take only what I need
You give all You have Got.

Down Memory Lane

A Humming Bird
Drinks Nectar from a Flower
Delicately Balanced
We are both Watching
This Dance of Love Silently
You Gently squeeze My hand
I wish this would Last Forever.

I have come back to this same Spot
Many a Times.
The Flower is Gone
but a Sweet Smell
Your Sweet Smell
Still Lingers on.

Letting Go

I will let go of you
If you want me to.
There is an invisible Cord
That binds me to You
and only you can cut it.
Every Time You look at Me and Smile
Every Time You Laugh with Me
The Bond gets Stronger.
So Stop Smiling and Laughing with Me.
Break the Cord and You will be Free.
And I will be lost without You
But only for a while
I will find Solace in the Flowers
and the Birds.
When Winter comes
I will light The Fire Place
and count the Moments We shared

Dilemma

There you Go
Running around in Circles Again
Jumping through  the Hoops
You come to the starting Point once more.
I know you want to stop it
But don't have a clue how to.
I guess if you let it be
and not fight it
A certain fatigue will develop and
Calmness will descend.
So take a break
Let the Load off your Back
Set yourself Free
You did not commit a crime.
You are the Victim
